About Colin Montgomerie
Since turning professional in 1987, Colin has recorded 31 European Tour tournament victories and has won the European Order of Merit a record eight times.
Colin's career highlights
- Made his debut appearance in the European Ryder cup in 1991, and since then has recorded a total of nine cup appearances and has finished on the winning side six times
- Captained the European team to their momentous 2010 victory
- Runner-up four times in Major Championships
