Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta

75 Years

Since 1934, the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta has seen the nation’s greatest collegiate rowers descend on the Schuylkill River to race for their university colors.

On May 10, 2013, the tradition continues as over 3,500 student-athletes from 120 colleges and universities take to the river in America’s most prestigious rowing competition.

Aberdeen Asset Management is proud to sponsor this tremendous display of skill and athleticism in our adopted home city of Philadelphia. This year marks the 75th rowing of the Regatta—a truly special occasion for this competition and the City.
