Aberdeen Asset Management has sponsored former Open Champion, Paul Lawrie since 1999. The sponsorship sees Paul wear Aberdeen branded clothing at tournaments worldwide attend Aberdeen functions and events during the course the year.
A percentage of Aberdeen’s sponsorship funds contribute towards the day-to-day management of the Paul Lawrie Foundation – one of Scotland’s most successful grass roots golf coaching initiatives.

Paul Lawrie joined the European Tour in 1992 .
Paul became a household name upon winning the 1999 Open Championship at Carnoustie, coming from ten strokes behind on the final day to defeat Jean Van de Velde and Justin Leonard in a four-hole play-off.
