Trading Costs

While expense ratios may be relatively low, investors must still pay brokerage commissions to purchase and sell shares for all closed-end funds. Investors, particularly those who trade frequently, should consider these additional expenses when reviewing the total costs associated with their investment.

  • Closed-end funds trade on exchanges at prices that may be more or less than their NAVs.
