Douglas J. Elliot is a Fellow, Economic Studies, Initiative on Business and Public Policy at the Brookings Institution. Doug was an investment banker for two decades, principally at J.P.Morgan. He was president and principal researcher for the Center on Federal Financial Institutions. He focuses on issues surrounding both public and private financial institutions and is an expert on the Eurozone crisis and pensions-related issues. Douglas frequently testifies before U.S. Congress and is regularly quoted in the media, including The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The Economist and Washington Post.
