How to Invest
You may qualify for a reduction or waiver of sales charges on the offering price. To receive the reduced or waived sales charge, you must inform Customer Service or your broker or other intermediary at the time of your purchase that you qualify for such a reduction or waiver. If you do not inform Customer Service or your intermediary that you are eligible for a reduced or waived sales charge, you may not receive the discount or waiver that you are entitled to.
You may have to produce evidence that you qualify for a reduced sales charge or waiver before you will receive it. Please refer to your prospectus for additional information on reduced or waived sales charges.
Class A Shares
Class A shares may be most appropriate for investors who want lower fund expenses or those who qualify for reduced front-end sales charges or a waiver of sales charges.

| A shareholder may be subject to a CDSC if he or she redeems Class A shares within 18 months of the date of purchase. Any CDSC is based on the original purchase price or the current market value of the shares being redeemed, whichever is less. If you redeem a portion of your shares, shares that are not subject to a CDSC are redeemed first, followed by shares that you have owned the longest. This minimizes the CDSC you pay. Please see "Waiver of Contingent Deferred Sales Charges-Class A and Class C Shares" in the fund's prospectus for a list of situations where a CDSC is not charged. If you purchase more than one Aberdeen Fund and subsequently redeem those shares, the amount of the CDSC is based on the specific combination of Aberdeen Funds purchased and is proportional to the amount you redeem from each Aberdeen Fund. | |||
CLASS C SHARES
Class C shares may be appropriate if you are uncertain how long you will hold your shares. If you redeem your Class C shares within the first year after you purchase them you must pay a CDSC of 1%.
For Class C shares, the CDSC is based on the original purchase price or the current market value of the shares being redeemed, whichever is less.
If you redeem a portion of your shares, shares that are not subject to a CDSC are redeemed first, followed by shares that you have owned the longest. This minimizes the CDSC that you pay. See "Waiver of Contingent Deferred Sales Charges-Class A and Class C Shares" in the fund's prospectus for a list of situations where a CDSC is not charged.
The Fund’s distributor or Adviser may compensate broker-dealers and financial intermediaries for sales of Class C shares from its own resources at the rate upto 1.00% of sales of Class C shares.
