Sales information

You may qualify for a reduction or waiver of sales charges on the offering price. To receive the reduced or waived sales charge, you must inform Customer Service or your broker or other intermediary at the time of your purchase that you qualify for such a reduction or waiver. If you do not inform Customer Service or your intermediary that you are eligible for a reduced or waived sales charge, you may not receive the discount or waiver that you are entitled to.

You may have to produce evidence that you qualify for a reduced sales charge or waiver before you will receive it. Please refer to your prospectus for additional information on reduced or waived sales charges.

A shareholder may be subject to a CDSC if he or she redeems Class A shares within 18 months of the date of purchase. Any CDSC is based on the original purchase price or the current market value of the shares being redeemed, whichever is less. If you redeem a portion of your shares, shares that are not subject to a CDSC are redeemed first, followed by shares that you have owned the longest. This minimizes the CDSC you pay. Please see "Waiver of Contingent Deferred Sales Charges-Class A and Class C Shares" in the fund's prospectus for a list of situations where a CDSC is not charged. If you purchase more than one Aberdeen Fund and subsequently redeem those shares, the amount of the CDSC is based on the specific combination of Aberdeen Funds purchased and is proportional to the amount you redeem from each Aberdeen Fund.

The maximum CDSC applicable to Aberdeen U.S. Small Cap Equity Fund Class A purchases made prior to May 1, 2017 is 0.50%. Effective May 1, 2017, the maximum CDSC is 1.00%. Unless you are otherwise eligible to purchase Class A shares without a sales charge, a CDSC at the rate in effect at the time the shares were purchased will be charged on Class A shares redeemed within 18 months of purchase if you paid no sales charge on the original purchase and a finder’s fee was paid.

The Aberdeen Ultra Short Municipal Income Fund Class A does not pay Finder’s Fees. Please note if you exchange Aberdeen Funds Class A shares that are subject to a CDSC into the Aberdeen Ultra Short Municipal Income Fund Class A, and then redeem those shares within 18 months of the original purchase, the CDSC applicable to the original purchase is charged.

Class C shares

Class C shares may be appropriate if you are uncertain how long you will hold your shares. If you redeem your Class C shares within the first year after you purchase them you must pay a CDSC of 1%.
For Class C shares, the CDSC is based on the original purchase price or the current market value of the shares being redeemed, whichever is less.

If you redeem a portion of your shares, shares that are not subject to a CDSC are redeemed first, followed by shares that you have owned the longest. This minimizes the CDSC that you pay. See "Waiver of Contingent Deferred Sales Charges-Class A and Class C Shares" in the fund's prospectus for a list of situations where a CDSC is not charged.

The Fund’s distributor or Adviser may compensate broker-dealers and financial intermediaries for sales of Class C shares from its own resources at the rate upto 1.00% of sales of Class C shares.

* Effective February 22, 2013, the Fund is closed to new investors except in limited circumstances. For further information, please see the “Investing with Aberdeen Funds – Fund Closure” section of the prospectus beginning on page 197 of the statutory prospectus.
